Kick-off at Indie Hackers Cape Town #53, Thu 17 Sept, MindJoy, Gardens. Demo day 15 October. Attending the kick-off gets you preference on entry.
Kick-off streamed and recorded. One online session every Thursday. Remote demo slots on 15 October, judged identically. Same points, same prizes.
Registration, your standing and your reminders run one to one through a WhatsApp number built on Paige. It is not a group and it never posts into one.
Rules, scoring and a live build at the kick-off. The clock starts at 21:00. In person and streamed.
First standings. Get numbers connected early: Meta verification is the one step with an unpredictable wait. Online.
Halfway standings. Expect the first bots to be live on their own numbers. Online.
Third standings. Last chance to get a client over the line. Online.
Final standings, demos from the top entries, every prize handed out. In person and online.
Anyone in South Africa, 18 or older, any technical background or none. Solo or teams of up to three. One entry per person.
No entry fee. The in person kick-off is a separate Indie Hackers meetup with its own R30 ticket, and you do not have to attend to enter or to win.
Anything WhatsApp focused, used by a real business, with any tool or stack. You keep the work and all the IP in it.
Message the WhatsApp number. Registration is open now and stays open. Places are first come, first served, and kick-off attendees get preference.
Transparent, updated every Thursday, and repeatable for each business you onboard.

| Build in public post | 5 | Tagged post on LinkedIn or X, link submitted. Max 5 a week |
| Build in public is capped at 50 points for the sprint. | ||
A subscription can be started the week before judging and cancelled the week after. An invoice your client has actually paid cannot.
Scoring low credit use would reward building something small and safe. It runs as the Most Efficient Build award instead, among entries scoring 100 or more.
Eligible, but you may claim at most two. A business means a distinct trading entity with its own customers.
Submit proof on the WhatsApp number by 18:00 on the Wednesday before each weekly update. Later submissions roll into the following week. Final cut-off is 18:00 on Wednesday 14 October.
Ties break on more paying clients, then on whose first client paid earlier. Query a decision on the WhatsApp number within 48 hours of standings going up. Final standings on demo day are final.
You may redact commercially sensitive detail from an invoice, as long as the payer, the amount, the date and the fact of payment stay legible.

Send It is a promotional competition run in South Africa by Green Pages, published in terms of section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Green Pages is the promoter and funds the competition in full. Indie Hackers Cape Town hosts the kick-off. By registering you agree to these terms.
Opens 21:00 SAST on Thursday 17 September 2026 and closes on demo day, Thursday 15 October 2026. Work started before the opening date may be entered, but only points earned during the competition period count.
You keep everything you build and all the intellectual property in it. Green Pages claims no ownership. By entering you allow Green Pages to name your entry, describe what it does, and show it on the leaderboard, on demo day and in write-ups afterwards.
Prizes are awarded on demo day. They are not transferable and not exchangeable for cash, except that a Claude Pro subscription may be taken as the equivalent value in Anthropic API credits. Wine prizes go only to winners aged 18 or older and may be swapped for a non-alcoholic prize of similar value on request. Green Pages may substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value if it becomes unavailable. Tax on a prize is the winner's own. Winners are contacted on the WhatsApp number they registered with. A prize unclaimed within 30 days of demo day is forfeited.
Faking a client, a payment, a deployment or a bug is disqualification. So is abuse of the Paige platform, of other entrants, or of anyone at the events. Green Pages may disqualify an entry for a serious breach and does not have to award a prize it has withdrawn.
Green Pages may adjust these rules, the calendar or the scoring if something material changes, and will announce it here and on the WhatsApp number before it takes effect. Changes will not reduce points already earned.
Green Pages is the responsible party for the personal information you give us, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
